WILLIAMSBURG CONDOMINIUM

 

The 2,000 square foot semi-intensive green roof atop this Williamsburg condominium was completed in Fall 2012.  A series of gently rolling mounds and a colorful palette of grasses and flowering perennials transformed this roof from a standard utilitarian structure into a breezy meadow.  Conventional container gardens at the perimeter of the common space decking welcome the building’s residents for social gatherings or quiet contemplation featuring views of iconic Brooklyn structures and  Manhattan’s city skyline.
