This rooftop incorporates a vast array of urban gardening approaches with undulating geometrical forms to achieve a harmonious effect, taming and balancing the dichotomous extremes of architecture and ecology that exist together in the urban environment. The project includes such techniques as modulated flooring, topographical decking, water features, a green roof meadow, turf, container plantings, and vertical vegetation, all of which create distinct zones of refuge while ensuring the cohesion of the project as a whole. With an intensive green roof system provided by Zinco USA, the tranquility of the garden blends fluidly with the interior to achieve an elegant outdoor living space that transcends the boundaries of traditional residential gardens.
