COUNTY COURTHOUSE

 

Part of a pilot research project funded by the Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation (BOEDC), this 10,000 square foot semi-intensive green roof includes a series of green roof monitoring stations. New York Green Roofs provides maintenance on the project for the City of New York through the Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) and it is the city’s first managed green roof contract.  The plant community is composed of flowering perennials and grasses, mixed sedum and groundcovers.
