CARRIAGE HOUSE RESIDENCE

 

Installed in November 2008, New York Green Roofs worked with landscape architecture firm Terrain – NYC to create this 950 square foot roof on top of a historic residential carriage house in Brooklyn Heights, NY.  The design features an Optigreen-based slope stabilization system that hosts a diverse variety of native grasses, perennials, sedums and succulents that provide rich color and texture all year round.
